The Impact of Godly Play in our Communities

We are always interested to hear about the ways that Godly Play is impacting your ministry. We love to hear stories of how summer camps and church programs across Canada integrate Godly Play storytelling into their curriculum. Please share your experiences and / or observations with us.

Bible Story Walk in the Diocese of Montreal

One of our board members pioneered an art project in the Anglican Diocese of Montreal called the Bible Story Walk. The project has been in circulation for the past two summers. It features the Godly Play Creation story displayed on a series of original  watercolour panels. The panels are mounted on sturdy weather proof wood podiums and are designed to travel from parish lawn to parish lawn during the summer months. The Bible Story Walk continues to be on rotation and is going strong! Many neighbours and community members of all ages are spotted regularly taking part in the story and wondering questions.  A QR code directs viewers to the church website to learn more about the host church, and includes links to the Bible Story Walk project and to the Godly Play Canada website.
